Northwoods Community Credit Union is offering a promotional 5 month certificate of deposit with a very high 7.14% APY. The minimum deposit is $1,500, but the maximum is $3,000. It requires new money to be deposited and is limited to one per member. The offer expires at 4:30pm on June 29, 2007.

The CU is also offering a 5.33% APY 7 month CD with a $2,000 minimum and no maximum deposit, which is a competitive rate.

Field of membership includes those who live or work in Ashland, Bayfield, Iron, Oneida, Price, Sawyer and Vilas counties, Wisconsin.
