Austin Telco Federal Credit Union has some competitive rates on its share certificates. The jumbo CD’s have the best rates which range from 4.37% APY for a 6-month CD to 4.73% APY for a 60-month term. These require a minimum deposit of $95K. The rates for a CD with a minimum deposit of $1K range from 4.32% APY for a 6-month CD to 4.68% APY for a 60-month CD. These are also available in an IRA.

Membership is open to anyone living, working, worshiping or attending school in Austin’s five county Metropolitan Area (Travis, Williamson, Hays, Bastrop and Caldwell Counties). Membership requires a minimum balance of $25 in your share savings account.
