Rivermark Community Credit Union of Oregon (OR) is now promoting a rewards checking account that yields 6.10% APY on balances up to $25,000. On balances above $25,000 the interest yield drops to 0.50% APY. Minimum balance for this account is $20. There are no monthly fees.

In order to recieve this rate, you need to have 12 debit card transactions per month. In addition, you must sign up for e-statements and log onto their online banking system at least once a month. If you don’t meet these requirements, the yield drops to a measly 0.10%, and ATM fees are no longer refunded.

Field of membership includes those who live or work in the following 6 Oregon counties: Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas, Polk, Yamhill and Marion. Rivermark Community CU Branches are located in Beaverton, Clackamas, Gresham, Newberg and Portland.
