In order to get this rate, you need to direct deposit $500 a month to any of the credit union’s savings or checking accounts. If you opt out of the direct deposit, the yield drops to 5.30% APY.

Field of membership includes those who live or work in Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Hillsborough or Pinellas County. You can also be eligible if your you or your immediate family work for a company on this list. Membership in the Eastern Financial Florida CU requires a minimum $5 deposit into your account.
